I get to work with my best friend every day. I get to work with my best friend every day? I get to work with my best friend every day!
Not many people can say this, so I said it three times. I'm also really good at counting to three.

Over the last two weeks, I've been reminded at how hard he really works. When he says he's going to "sleep in" he means until 7 a.m. (I've been known to sleep past Noon. But, that was in college so it doesn't count, right? Right?). When he says he's going to shut down early, he means 8 p.m. (I remember taking 1/2 days off of work to go to Fort Collins for a facial.)

I'm amazed daily that he agreed to let me quit my job to come work with him. It's a real ego boost to think a man of which I'm in such awe, actually wants to spend his days with me. He's patient with me as I learn and he's always making sure I'm okay. "I can finish that." "Don't hurt your back." "Thanks for your help."

Boss. Friend. Husband. Love. He's got a lot of titles and I'm glad he's mine.
God Bless You & American Agriculture,

So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. - Genesis 2:20-24 (NIV)
